Samunnati (Sponsorship)Program
People of developing countries are contributing their help for make a positive changes and overall development in life of children who belongs from remote area is the modality of Samunnati (Sponsorship) Program. Collection and contribution from sponsor is the main source of fund for sponsorship program, but fund is not given by sponsor child and their family directly. It is expend through implementation of various awareness programs (Education, Health & Nutrition, Child protection and Child Poverty) for holistic development of community and society. The project has been implementing in partnership of Save the Children
The major goal of Samunnati (Sponsorship) Program is to strengthen the capacity of community level structures for serving the quality services by implement ECCD, BE, SHN, AD, ASRH and Livelihood program in community for ensuring the child protection, child participation, child survival, child development and increase in the access of education to all.

Objective of Sponsorship Program:
- The major objective of sponsorship program is to assist in community development for access of children in education, cognitive, physical, mental and health development of children by various types of implementing relevant vision, interventions and its monitoring and evaluation through community mobilization.
- To increase in access, availability and quality service for all by implement four major core programs.
Coverage district/Guapalika/Nagar palika/ ward (current)
Since 10th August, 2017 the program Samunnati (Sponsorship) has been implementing in southern part of Mahottari district’s Jaleshwar municipality which is a part of Province No. 2 . The program Samunnati (Sponsorship) initially covered six out of twelve wards of municipality (divided in two clusters) but from 1st June, 2018 now it has been covering the whole municipality. Detail of coverage areas are mentioned below in table:

Duration of project:
The program Samunnati (Sponsorship) has main motto to intervene and make the community aware & conscious through conducting the various types of event/activities in communities and society on the issues of Health & Nutrition, Education, Adolescence Development (AD), Child protection and Child Poverty for healthy and safe environment where children can learn and grow. It is not possible in short term project period. It has getting long time to make changes in society so; the project sponsorship has designed for a decade (10 years).
